FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

An endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure where a thin, flexible tube with a camera is used to examine the digestive tract. It is often recommended to diagnose or monitor conditions like acid reflux, ulcers, or abnormal growths.
Before a colonoscopy, you will be given detailed instructions, which typically include a liquid diet the day before and taking a prescribed laxative to empty the colon for a clear view during the procedure.
Most gastroenterology procedures, like endoscopy and colonoscopy, are performed with sedation, ensuring you remain comfortable and pain-free throughout the process. Some patients may experience mild discomfort afterward, but recovery is typically quick.
We work with a wide range of insurance providers to ensure that our patients receive the care they need without financial concerns. If you’re unsure about your coverage, our team is happy to assist you in confirming your plan's benefits.
